A quick hotfix after yesterday’s larger list, this time a quick fix for two things. The first change is that Stormjewels will now be correctly Unique-Equipped. This hotfix addresses players being able to use multiple Epic Stormjewels gems, as long as they were not the same stats. This change means that you can no longer use a Runed Stormjewel together with a Rigid Stormjewel for example.
These gems are currently fetching very high prices on a lot of servers, so I hope no one ends up with a ton in their gear that no longer work! If you do have multiple Stormjewels in your gear, you should still be able to equip the gear, but you will not receive the bonus multiple times. This behavior may be changed in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, your mileage may vary.
The Blood of the Old God trinket will now show the correct attack power in the tooltip, one of many tooltip fixes that have been needed after the Ulduar item level was increased. The wording on this one is not quite as obvious as it has been for other items, so this could either be an increase to Attack Power, or simply a visual change, making the tooltip reflect the stats provided. The change brings the tooltip from 1284 Attack Power to 1358 Attack Power, a 74 Attack Power difference.
