How to Get the Improved Barkskin Rune

To get the Improved Barkskin rune, you’ll need to be at least level 44. You can pick up the idol sooner, but you won’t be able to use it until then.

Travel to Tanaris and kill the following elementals in the zone for a chance to drop the Idol of the Raging Shambler:

The easiest way to farm it is to head to Thistleshrub Valley in the southwest corner of the zone.

Equip the idol when you get it. You’ll then need to kill 5 enemies with Nature damage while affected by Barkskin. Afterward, you’ll be able to activate the idol to get your rune.
