In a recent survey sent by Blizzard they covered not only questions related to TBC Classic but also questions around player preferences toward fresh WoW Classic realms.
If World of Warcraft introduced a new WoW Classic “fresh start” realm where the game is as it was on Day 1 (e.g., all players start at Level 1, Molten Core and Onyxia are the only raids available, battlegrounds are not yet available, etc.) and content unlocks/progresses over time, how interested would you be in playing on that realm?

please allow us the ability to copy clone from old classic to fresh when fresh reaches naxx patch!!!

I 100% agree about keeping our characters. I want to be able to come back and play them anytime, gather up so old m8s and run some instances, some BGs, or even raid.
Fresh realms are a great idea, but they need to leave some static realms and give us the option to move/keep our characters there. Having the option to copy a character into TBC and keep the vanilla one would be the absolute best choice. I’d pay for that if I had to.
New realms would be fun as, but I would loose all motivation if the character I spent literal months of game time on was just going to disappear or be nerfed down to a mere 60 on a lvl 70 expansion. Leveling up and getting new gear is fun, but I also want to have a top tier character on vanilla forever that I can play whenever.

Personally I want to keep my characters, I’m not interested in playing on a fresh realm…
